Northern Ireland lost their U21 European Championship opener in the Czech Republic on Friday night.

The visitors had the chance to go ahead in the 50th minute but Everton defender Shane Duffy missed a penalty.

They were made to pay a heavy price with Marcel Gecov netting in the 72nd minute and Borek Dockal adding a second 11 minutes later.

Northern Ireland continue their campaign against Iceland in Coleraine on Tuesday.
