The Ports moved into the top half of the Carnegie Premier League after this Shamrock Park rout. Marty Verner's rebound strike gave Larne an early lead before John Convery levelled with a close-range finish.
A superb Gary McCutcheon volley put Portadown 2-1 ahead just before the break and two second-half goals from Jonny Topley secured the points.
Andy Smith added the fifth with a minute left and the result sees Larne slip to bottom place.
