Collins set to depart Portadown
Michael Collins with his Portadown manager Ronnie McFall
Collins has again been hit by suspensions this season
Portadown midfielder Michael Collins appears set to leave the club during the January transfer window.

Collins has again been hit by suspensions this season and Ports boss Ronnie McFall has revealed that he is to let the player speak to other clubs.

Back in September, Collins told BBC Sport that he believed he was being unfairly singled out by referees.

He also claimed that opposing managers were instructing players to target him in an attempt to get him sent off.

McFall told the Belfast Telegraph that he believed Collins might be "better off" making a new start in the Eircom League.
