Robertson has confirmed that Killian Brennan has left the club

Robertson has revealed that Killian Brennan and Sean McCafferty have joined Ken Oman in quitting the club.

Gary Beckett is likely to be shown the door if Robertson stays on but Pat Jennings has signed a new contract.

Beckett has been out injured for most of this season and Robertson has indicated that the veteran will not be in his plans for next season - if the manager does remain in charge at the Brandywell.

Alan Moore is also not in Robertson's plans but Gareth McGlynn has indicated that he will join Jennings in agreeing a new deal with the club.

A number of arrivals from England and Scotland are on the cards in the New Year once the cross-channel transfer window begins.

Galway United winger Derek O'Brien had looked set to join the Candystripes but he had a last-minute change of heart and opted to stay at the Terryland Park outfit.

Robertson's future was discussed by the club's board of directors on Tuesday evening.

Earlier this week, Robertson claimed that there was "a lack of transparency" at the club and said that he had been left "very unsettled".

Robertson's own domestic circumstances and the impending exits of the chairman Hugh McDaid and chief executive Jim Roddy appear to have frustrated the Scotsman.
