John Robertson took over as Derry City manager in July |
Derry City manager John Robertson has put his future in doubt after claiming there is a lack of transparency at the Eircom Premier Division club. Domestic circumstances and the exits of the chairman and chief executive have left the Scotsman "very unsettled".
"There's a huge void at present and given my personal situation at home there's a few things we need to talk about," said Robertson.
"There has to be transparency, which I don't see at the moment."
Hugh McDaid stepped down as Candystripes chairman in Setpember and chief executive Jim Roddy followed him out of the Brandywell a fortnight later.
"One or two questions need to be answered - things have to be quantified and clarified," added Roberston.
"I've tried to find out who the new board's going to be and I've been given no answer.
"I've tried to find out who the new chairman is going to be but again we don't know that.
"And how do you replace Jim Roddy? He was a perfect buffer between me and the board.
"All of these things need to be cleared up but that's not going to stop me doing my job.
"Regardless of whether I'm here or not the players we need for next season have been spoken to and are ready to commit.
"The sooner we can get this transparancy at all levels sorted out the better it will be for the club."
However, Robertson believes midfielder Killian Brennan will join Ken Oman in leaving City.
"Killian Brennan has been offered a contract but he has not got back to me for the last four or five weeks so it would appear he sees his future lying elsewhere."
