John Robertson's side are without a win in five league games |
Derry City were held to a 1-1 draw in Monday's Eircom League clash after Bray Wanderers equalised in the third minute of injury-time at the Carlisle Grounds. Gareth McGlynn put Derry ahead in the 26th minute after a Kevin Deery cross.
Kevin McHugh should have extended Derry's lead before the break but Clive Delaney cleared off the line.
Derry tried to sit on their lead as the second half wore on and after Alan Cawley and Gary McCabe went close, sub Dunphy struck in the dying seconds.
Candystripes boss John Robertson will have been hugely disappointed by his team's failure to claim the three points.
They dominated the first half and controlled the early stages after the break but they allowed the Wicklow club to claw their way back into the contest.
Derry have now failed to win in their last five league games while Bray will regard it as a valuable point as they attempt to move away from any threat of relegation.
