Glenavon 1-2 Ballymena Utd
Dominic Melly scored for Ballymena
Dominic Melly scored Ballymena's opener at Mourneview
Ballymena United kept themselves in with a chance of reaching the CIS Cup quarter-finals thanks to Kevin Kelbie's late winner at Mourneview Park.

United had taken the lead on 22 minutes when Dominic Melly scored.

Former Bangor striker Marty Verner netted the equaliser with a tap-in on 67 minutes from Shea Campbell's cross.

Kelbie crowned his first United start by scoring the winner which leaves them needing to beat Portadown and hoping that Newry slip up against Glenavon.

The result leaves Glenavon still without a point under new manager Jimmy Brown.
