Iran 2-2 OmanMohammad Nosrati grabbed a injury-time equaliser to salvage a draw for Iran against Oman in the Asian Cup.
A first-half double from striker Imad Ali in sweltering conditions in Chongqing looked set to stun three-times champions Iran and help Oman create the biggest upset of the competition so far.
But Ali Karimi pulled a goal back with a deflected shot in the 63rd minute before Nosrati struck with a looping header three minutes into stoppage time.
The goal rubbed salt into Oman's wounds with Nosrati being fortunate to be on the pitch after seemingly trampling on the back of Ali moments before Karimi struck for Iran.
Referee Abdul Rahman of Bahrain failed to see the alleged stamp and Nosrati punished some slack marking to head in a Mehdi Mahdavikia free kick.

Takashi Fukunishi headed in a corner from Alessandro Santos to make it 3-1 before Nakazawa rounded off an impressive display two minutes before the end.
