South Korea 0-0 Jordan South Korea were held to a surprise draw by Asia Cup debutants Jordan in their opening game in Group B.
The World Cup semi-finalists had the majority of possession and plenty of chances but were unable to beat man-of-the-match Amer Shafi in goal.
Jordan's best chance fell to Badran Shagran early on, but he could not connect with a cross.
"We had many chances and the keeper was not only good, but also lucky," said South Korea coach Jo Bonfrere.

Kuwait lead Group B after a comprehensive win over the United Arab Emirates.
