Lawro's Premier League predictions

BBC Sport expert Mark Lawrenson

This season, BBC Sport football expert Mark Lawrenson will pit his wits against a new guest each week.

It is the turn of actor Jake Wood, who plays Albert Square 'love rat' Max Branning in EastEnders, to predict the results for the next round of Premier League matches.

Wood, a big Arsenal fan, tips the Gunners to enjoy an easy win over Newcastle on Saturday but thinks Manchester United will be the highest goalscorers of the weekend. Don't forget you can see all of his predictions on Football Focus at 1215 GMT on BBC One and this website (in the UK) on Saturday.

This week's predictionsScoreLawroJake Wood
Aston Villa v Fuham 2-2 2-1 2-1
Chelsea v Liverpool 0-1 2-0 1-1
Everton v Blackpool 5-3 2-0 3-1
Man City v West Brom 3-0 2-0 2-0
Newcastle v Arsenal 4-4 0-2 0-3
Stoke v Sunderland 3-2 2-0 1-2
Tottenham v Bolton 2-1 2-0 2-0
Wigan v Blackburn 4-3 1-1 1-1
Wolves v Man Utd 2-1 0-2 1-5
West Ham v Birmingham 0-1 2-1 1-2

A correct result is worth ONE point, a correct score earns THREE points.

There was no guest for Lawro to pit his wits against for the midweek Premier League games played on 1 and 2 February, but he got four results right, including one perfect score to give him a total of six points.
