Crawley and AFC Wimbledon are in the hat for the FA Cup first round after their fourth qualifying round draw at the Broadfield Stadium.
Danny Forrest scored for the Reds in the first half before Sam Hatton struck from 30 yards to level terms.
Crawley boss Steve Evans told BBC Sussex: "I think we out-performed Wimbledon for long long spells.
"We missed three or four good chances to win the cup tie, it's by no means dead because we go there on Tuesday."
AFC Wimbledon manager Terry Brown told BBC Surrey: "We're glad to be in the draw, I didn't think we played very well at all. I thought Crawley dominated, especially the first half hour.
"It took us yonks and yonks to get going. Too many of my players had an off-day today.
"We've got to up the ante by at least 20% if we want to get past Crawley. We've played them twice in a month and they've been identical games really.
