Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard has won the "Player of the Round" award for the FA Cup quarter-finals. Gerrard, whose team-mate Jamie Carragher won in round five, received over 65% of the 34,918 votes cast.
Chelsea skipper John Terry, West Ham striker Dean Ashton and Middlesbrough's Ugo Ehiogu were also nominated.
Gerrard receives an engraved silver salver, a VIP seat at the 2006 FA Cup Final and �1,000 worth of Umbro kit for a local school, club or organisation.
Supporters vote for the best player from each round on the Football Association's website.
Gerrard will join Carragher, Bolton's Ricardo Gardner, Nuneaton's Gez Murphy, Doncaster's Dave Mulligan, Northwich's Paul Brayson (who won the award twice), Eastbourne's Stuart Tuck, Leamington's Alex Rodman and Gosport Borough's Jamie Laidlaw in this season's "Team of the FA Cup".
