Paul Brayson's hat-trick for Northwich Victoria has won him the FA Cup "Player of the Round" award for the competition's second qualifying round. In-form Brayson scored three in the Conference North side's 4-1 win over Frickley Athletic.
Club secretary Derek Nuttall said Brayson, who has netted 13 goals in 11 games, deserved the award.
He polled 45% of the 10,079 votes cast on the FA's website, beating Russell Penn of Enfield Town into second place.
The other contenders were Cray Wanderers' Jamie Wood, Solihull Borough's Jamie Petty, and Mike Booth of Tiverton Town.
Brayson's win means he receives an engraved silver salver and a VIP seat at the 2006 FA Cup Final at Wembley.
He also wins �1000 worth of Umbro football kit for a local school, club or organisation of his choice.
Gosport Borough's Jamie Laidlaw is already in this season's "Team of The FA Cup", having won the first qualifying round award.
The Team of the FA Cup comprises player of the round winners from the first qualifying round to the semi-final.
