Paul Brayson has become the first player to win the FA Cup's "player of the round" award twice in one season. The Northwich Victoria striker scored a hat-trick in the 3-1 win over Morecambe to win the poll on the Football Association's official website.
He previously won the vote in the second qualifying round for a hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Frickley Athletic.
Brayson won 32% of the 47,000 votes cast to beat Colchester United's Mark Yeates, who polled 29%.
Yeates was closely followed by Weymouth goalkeeper Jason Matthews who polled 28% after his side's superb 1-1 draw at Nottingham Forest.
Stevenage Borough's George Boyd and Burscough captain Karl Bell claimed 5% of the vote each.
Brayson will receive an engraved silver salver and a VIP seat at the 2006 FA Cup Final.
He also wins �1000 worth of Umbro football kit for a local school, club or organisation of his choice.
He joins Eastbourne's Stuart Tuck, Leamington's Alex Rodman and Gosport Borough's Jamie Laidlaw in this season's "Team of the FA Cup".
