Giovanni Trapattoni will make changes to his Italian side after their unimpressive start to Euro 2004 with a draw against Denmark. He said: "It is probable that I will make several changes for our next game. Considering what I have seen, it is important that I make those changes.
"I wanted the win. However, this result is good seeing how the game evolved and the fact that this is our first game.
"We will improve our condition and our conviction in the next few days."
"Denmark made us suffer and I think Sweden and Bulgaria will also make us sweat.
"I will talk to my players to see what happened and hopefully we can emulate our second-half performance shown against Denmark in our next encounters."
Italy central defender Alessandro Nesta is aware the side need to improve.
He said: "There's no excuse, we have played badly.
"All this considered we are relieved to have taken one point.
"We were unable to find our rhythm and despite the coach making several tactical changes we just never got going."
