 | DENMARK 0-0 ITALY |
Denmark coach Morten Olsen believes his side were better than Italy in their Euro 2004 opener but was content with a point as his side proved their worth. "I am satisfied with a point although overall I think we deserved to win," said Olsen.
"We had lots of chances and completely controlled the game in the first half - despite that, it's a good start for us.
"I believe we had a good team on the pitch. We have very good players and we have proved it."
He added: "Thomas Sorensen had a couple of good saves and we had many chances as well."
