| Saturday, 14 December, 2002, 18:09 GMT Lincoln 2-2 Cambridge Nine-man Cambridge came back from the dead to grab a point in a 2-2 draw at Lincoln. Cambridge went in front with a fourth-minute goal from midfielder Luke Guttridge, but Lincoln levelled in the 34th minute when a long-range shot from Ben Sedgemore was flicked in by new signing Richard Butcher. Cambridge had Terry Fleming dismissed for a second booking in the 64th minute, and almost immediately Simon Weaver fired Lincoln in front. Guttridge then followed Fleming when he was red-carded for a 71st-minute challenge on Paul Smith. But Paul Wanless hit a 78th-minute equaliser moments after replacing Franco Nacca. Lincoln were themselves reduced to 10 men when substitute Scott Willis was dismissed for a head-high challenge on Wanless.
