Bees face Terriers
Click here for opening day fixtures

Brentford and Huddersfield missed out on promotion via the play-offs last season but will be hoping to go one step further this time around.

They clash on the opening day of the Nationwide Division Two season in arguably the biggest fixture of the schedule.

The first set of games also sees the three relegated teams all facing away fixtures.

Barnsley travel to Swindon while Crewe are at Northampton and Stockport visit Colchester.

Wigan showed signs of improvement towards the end of last season under Paul Jewell and newly-promoted Cheltenham will test if they can carry on their good form this season.

Luton return to Division Two and face Peterborough in a match pitting two characters of the game against each other in managers Joe Kinnear and Barry Fry.

Plymouth were promoted as Division Three champions while Mansfield came up via third place last term. These two sides meet at Fieldmill.

Queens Park Rangers are out of administration and will hope promotion is the next step out of trouble but they will have Chesterfield trying to spoil their opening day party at Loftus Road.

Bristol City are another team who will have eyes on promotion after a seventh place finish last season.

They kick-off against Blackpool and elsewhere Oldham, Wycombe and Tranmere, who fell short of the play-off zone last term, take on Cardiff, Notts County and Port Vale respectively.
