Millwall 1-2 Nottm Forest

David Johnson scored twice as Nottingham Forest came from behind to beat Millwall at the New Den.

Johnson grabbed his 14th goal of the season in the 65th minute to cancel out Kevin Davies' 44th-minute opener for the Lions.

That made it six straight games in which Johnson has found the target - and he then grabbed the winner five minutes from time.

By that stage Millwall had been reduced to 10 men after Matthew Lawrence was dismissed for a second bookable offence with 11 minutes remaining.

Davies - on loan from Southampton - headed over Forest goalkeeper Darren Ward to give his team the lead after latching on to a long throw from Lawrence.

Millwall should have doubled their lead two minutes after the restart.

But Davies got a poor connection and his weak header was parried by Ward, who also kept out Kinet's follow-up before Harris fired the second rebound wide.

Millwall were made to pay for failing to finish off the match as Johnson's double helped Forest stay fourth in the table and extend their unbeaten league run to five games.

Millwall: Warner, Lawrence, Nethercott, Ward, Ryan, Ifill, Wise, Livermore, Kinet, Harris, Davies. Subs: Gueret, Roberts, Sweeney, Phillips, Claridge.

Nottm Forest: Ward, Louis-Jean, Brennan, Walker, Dawson, Bopp, Scimeca, Williams, Jess, Johnson, Harewood. Subs: Roche, Hjelde, Doig, Westcarr, Reid.

Referee: A Hall (West Midlands).
