Nicky Forster
Forster is unbeaten as Dover manager

Dover manager Nicky Forster maintained his unbeaten run since being appointed with a 1-0 win at Bromley.

Donovan Simmonds scored the only goal in the fourth minute but Dover had to play most of the second half with ten men after Shane Huke saw red.

Boss Forster told BBC Radio Kent: "Hukey himself said 'no chance, no way was it a red card' and the players said the same."

Dover chairman Jim Parmenter said the club are considering an appeal.

"Initially when it happened I thought he was booking Battipiedi for a second yellow, which would have resulted in a red so we were disappointed with that. I didn't think it warranted a red," added Forster.

Dover moved up to seventh with the win, four points off the play-offs.

Forster said: "It's a big three points for lots of reasons. We have in house targets and we've pretty much achieved one of those.

"We are pushing hard to try and get up with the pack of five at the top, we have distanced ourselves from some of the teams below us, it's kept the momentum going. For many reasons that's vital for us."

Dartford striker Jacob Erskine scored his first goal for the club in their 3-0 win at Thurrock which lifts them to third place. James Rogers and Jack Pallen also netted, all in the second half.

Tonbridge grabbed their first away win since the first day of the season. They came from behind to beat Eastbourne 2-1 through goals from Kane McLaggan and Lee Browning.

Kent's top goal scorer Kwesi Appiah took his tally to 16for the season in Margate's 1-1 draw with Concord Rangers, Chatham Town lost 1-0 to a late goal at Soham Town Rangers and after two goals from Josh Vincent Folkestone needed an extra-time effort from James Everitt to beat Faversham Town 3-2 in the Kent Senior Cup.
