Dover boss Forster signs two more

Dover Athletic

Dover Athletic manager Nicky Forster has made his second and third signings.

After capturing Leon Redwood, Forster has now added former Brighton midfielder Agustin Battipiedi and ex-Brentford striker Kyle Vassell.

Battipiedi, 22, has joined until the end of the season, while 20-year-old Vassel has signed on non contract terms.

Battipiedi, who is Argentinian by birth, has most recently been playing for Eastbourne Borough.

Forster told the club's website: "This is an exciting signing for us. Agustin was playing League One football just a few months ago.

"I've seen him play a few times for Brighton and have been impressed. He will increase the competition for places in our midfield.

"Kyle has been signed on a non-contract basis at the moment, but hopefully he will show what he can do and stay here for longer than the trial period."

Forster's team have won one and draw one of his two matches in charge of Dover.

They are currently 12th in Blue Square Bet South and this weekend will try and reach the final qualifying round of the FA Cup when they face Wroxham of the Ridgeons League Premier Division.
