Dover Athletic boss Martin Hayes says he is frustrated with the lack of goals in his side's recent games.
After an impressive start to the season the Whites have consistently struggled to score, and have registered four 0-0 draws in six games.
Hayes told BBC Radio Kent: "We're not putting our chances away which is really hurting us.
"It's frustrating from the sidelines because myself, the chairman and the fans want to be up there challenging."
Athletic's home draw with Farnborough has left them without a win in eight games but Hayes feels their fortune will change soon.
"We've had six clean sheets out of 10 so we're doing lots of things right but unfortunately goals do win games," he said.
"Sometimes you just need something to trigger it and we have to keep believing it will come and things will change very quickly," he added.
"The lads know they've missed chances and what we don't need is them to start getting nervous and edgy."
Dover, who welcome Havant and Waterlooville on Saturday, currently lie 13th in the table.
"What would be really good is a nice early goal and that will relax a lot of people," Hayes continued.
"A good result on Saturday will hopefully put a smile back on peoples' faces so we can move on and get a run going."
