Weir-Daley has played for Notts County and Lincoln City

Blue Square Bet North club Boston United have withdrawn their offer of a contract to striker Spencer Weir-Daley.

The 25-year-old has scored 35 goals over the last two seasons while playing for the Pilgrims.

Joint Boston manager Lee Canoville told the club's website: "We gave him a deadline to accept the offer and he wasn't sure so we have to move on.

"Good luck to Spencer. He wants to play higher at the moment but I don't think he has an offer."
