Ebbsfleet United lodge appeal over goalkeeper crisis
Daish is hoping to get Ebbsfleet promoted at the first time of asking
Ebbsfleet United have appealed against a Football Conference decision not to allow them to sign another goalkeeper.
First-choice Preston Edwards is injured meaning Gillingham loannee Daren Hawkes is the only option.
Liam Daish's side take a 4-1 lead into the second leg of their play-off semi-final against Chelmsford at Stonebridge Road on Sunday.
Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "I think it is unfair. Every team should have two keepers available for the play-offs.
He added: "With so much at stake - all your hard work could be wasted.
We hope Ebbsfleet go on and get promoted because I've got a lot of time for that football club and for Liam Daish - who's a fantastic guy

"If something happened to Daren, we would be stuck without a keeper and it makes it a bit of a farce."
Daish is concerned that should Gillingham also make the play-offs in League Two, Gills boss Andy Hessenthaler may recall Hawkes if one of their other keepers pick up an injury.
Hessenthaler told BBC Radio Kent that he could not guarantee Daish that would not happen.
He said: "We want to help Ebbsfleet and we'll do that as much as we can.
"We'll only call him back if there's a problem with our keeper.
"We're pleased for Daren and we hope Ebbsfleet go on and get promoted because I've got a lot of time for that football club and for Liam Daish - who's a fantastic guy."
