A dramatic equaliser in stoppage time from Phil Trainer rescued a draw for AFC Telford in their play-off semi-final first leg at Nuneaton.
Kyle Storer had put the hosts ahead with a fierce free-kick on 75 minutes.
But three minutes into injury time, Jon Adams' shot was saved by Danny Alcock and Trainer poked in the rebound for his 13th goal of the season.
"What a great time to score - perhaps it's a defining moment," Telford boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
Greg Mills twice went close and Andy Brown headed wide as the visitors dominated the first-half, and Adam Proudlock was then denied by Guy Hadland's timely tackle.
Nuneaton hit back - Mark Noon shot over before Storer's strike looked to have given them the advantage for Sunday's second leg.
But with seven seconds left of three added minutes of injury time, Trainer poked home.
The winner of the second leg will go through to meet Guiseley or Boston in the Blue Square North play-off final.
Guiseley take a 1-0 lead into the second leg at Boston.
