Lewes manager Tim O'Shea is expecting more twists in their battle to stay in Blue Square Bet South.
The Rooks boosted their hopes of survival with a 1-0 win over Maidenhead on Saturday, and now lie two points from safety.
O'Shea told BBC Sussex: "It wasn't exactly a polished performance, but it was dogged and determined. We've lived another day.
"With the position we're in, there will be some anxious moments."
O'Shea brought in four players on transfer deadline day last week, to add to the recent signing of Millwall defender Pat O'Connell.
"We were a bit light on bodies," O'Shea added.
"At times like this you need to make some brave decisions."
