Harrogate Town's loan forward Chib Chilaka hit a hat-trick in his side's 3-0 win at home to Gloucester.
Chilaka, who is on loan from Bradford City, scored twice before the break and followed up with his third in the second half.
Manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York: "Look at how he's grown with us over his loan period.
"But it's not just about one player today. I thought everyone dug in and it was a good all round performance."
Weaver praised Chilaka for his attitude and said he deserved his goals.
"The first one, what a goal that was. That could be shown over years of Match of the Day the way he took that.
"His strength is phenomenal at times. He's going round the changing room with a pen in his hand telling all the lads to sign his match ball. He deserves it and he's a good character. "
The win moves Harrogate Town up to 14th in Blue Square Bet North and they are now unbeaten in the last five games.
Weaver said: "Maybe it wasn't as pretty at times as we'd like. You expect that against a team like Gloucester that are very direct in their approach but I thought when we did get it down and play then we hurt them.
"We've got a lot of ability in the squad, I keep telling the lads that and now we're seeing some consistency."
