Harrogate Town let two-goal lead slip to draw at Boston
Boston pulled back a two-goal deficit to deny Harrogate Town a surprise win in the Blue Square Bet North.
Harrogate led 2-0 at half time with goals from Adam Nowakowski and Richard Marshall but a brace from Spencer Weir-Daley denied Town the win.
Harrogate manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York: "We found ourselves 2-0 up through good play, a lot of possession, and pressing high up the pitch.
"I thought we were outstanding. I thought we dictated proceedings."
Weaver added: "We knew at half time we'd got to be very strong mentally. I still believe we kept strong in the second half but for the first 15 minutes of the second half we stuck to the game-plan and did ever so well.
"We were dominating and we played some superb stuff on a poor surface."
The result means Harrogate Town are now 15th in table while Boston United stay second and one point behind leaders AFC Telford United.
Harrogate are at home to bottom club Redditch in their next game and Weaver is warning his side against complacency.
"It was a foregone conclusion in a lot of the Boston people's minds they were going to get three points today. They nearly ended up with nothing," he said.
"So we've got to be professional. We'll get back on it and get a game plan in place. It's a great chance to play creative inventive football."
