Harrogate Town came back from two goals down to earn a point from their Blue Square Bet North game against Blyth Spartans at the CNG Stadium.
Stephen Turnbull and Alan White put Blyth ahead before Harrogate Town replied through Craig James and Graeme Armstrong to set up an exciting finish.
Manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York: "All in all a fantastic game.
"Fortunately we were patient and kept going and we got ourselves back into the game."
Weaver said the first half was frustrating to watch.
He said: "They went 2-0 up and they didn't have to work had for either goal. That was the frustrating thing.
"We warned our lads enough about the profiles of their players. We said at half time we've got to be stronger.
"It's so frustrating to be 2-0 down when between boxes I think we're the better team and had large amounts of possession. We looked an attractive football team."
The result leaves Harrogate Town in 15th place in the table.
