Dover Athletic striker Adam Birchall took his tally for the season to a club record 40 with two goals in the Whites' 2-1 win over Dorchester.
The victory means Dover are four points away from the Blue Square Bet South play-off places with two games in hand.
Birchall told BBC Radio Kent: "I haven't been thinking of records, I've just been playing my hardest.
"Now I know I've got the record it's great but I've got to look at the bigger picture."
Welling also won, 4-1 at Eastleigh, but Ebbsfleet and Dartford lost.
Andy Pugh scored twice in the first 25 minutes for the Wings, who were able to make their first outfield signing of the season in midweek after having their transfer embargo lifted.
Manager Jamie Day said: "It was nice, it makes a change to be able to bring someone in. Ben Martin did really well, he started.
"We played really well after the disappointing result last Saturday. The boys played really well. We matched them physically, I thought we were comfortable."
Ebbsfleet's 3-2 defeat at Weston Super Mare means they drop to fourth place, and after the leaders Braintree dropped points manager Liam Daish regarded it as a wasted opportunity.
"It was not a good day defensively," he said. "Three glaring individual mistakes cost us. We go a goal ahead and you should keep it like that for a little while but we didn't defend the far stick.
"I felt confident at half-time, I thought we'd learn from that but their second or third goals haven't been down to them, we've given them the opportunity to score the second and the third."
Jay Saunders noted an improvement in Maidstone United's performance in his first game since being asked to take charge of the side until the end of the season.
Saunders, who up until the departure of Andy Ford on Tuesday night had been captain, saw his side lose 2-0 to Billericay by conceding two late goals.
"We deserved something out of it," he said. "It was me who gave the ball away on the edge of their box for the first goal, but overall I am pleased with the boys, we should have got something but that's the way it's been going for us."
Margate's players reacted to the dismissal of manager Iain O'Connell on Friday with a 3-2 win at Hendon, Craig Cloke, Tom Bradbourne and Wayne Wilson scored the goals.
Director Keith Piper has begun the search for a permanent manager and told BBC Radio Kent O'Connell's departure was purely down to results.
"Iain asked for assurances about his position for next season, the club wasn't able to give him those assurances, the rest is history," he said.
"We'll appoint a caretaker manager for Tuesday's game and we will take whatever time we need to find the right person."
Ramsgate and Whitstable Town were Kent's only other winners in the Ryman league while Hythe Town extended their lead at the top of the Kent League to four points with a 2-0 win at Beckenham.
