Hayes guided Dover to the third round of the FA Cup this year
Dover manager Martin Hayes is under serious pressure to improve results following the club's 1-0 defeat to Weston-Super-Mare.
Chairman Jim Parmenter told the club's website: "We need to have some serious discussions about the future direction of Dover Athletic in light of these poor results."
The third straight loss means Dover are now eighth, four points off fifth.
Ebbsfleet and Welling increased their promotion prospects with away wins.
Ebbsfleet boss Liam Daish celebrated six years in charge with a 3-2 victory at his former side Havant and Waterlooville.
Havant twice equalised but the Fleet won the game thanks to an 81st minute winner from Ricky Shakes.
Manager Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "I come off each game with a headache, but this was good though. I enjoyed it here, I managed here for a number of years, we had success here, it's on my doorstep so I did enjoy today."
Ebbsfleet remain fourth, nine points behind leaders Braintree, who were held by Fleet's neighbours Dartford to a 1-1 draw.
John Main scored his first goal for the club in his fifth game since joining on loan from AFC Wimbledon.
He said: "It's been a long time coming, I was due a goal. Every club I've gone to it's taken me four or five games to get that goal, so this is normal for me. I'm just happy to be playing football again."
Welling United had the luxury of being able to name three substitutes for their 1-0 win at Hampton and Richmond.
They had just eleven players for their midweek game with Bromley as the club suffer under a transfer embargo. Lee Clarke got the winning goal for the Wings who are sixth in the Blue Square Bet South table.
Tonbridge Angels suffered their first defeat since November as they surprisingly lost 2-0 to Croydon Athletic. Perhaps the best result for the Kent clubs in the Ryman Premier Division was Maidstone's 3-2 win over Hendon, the Stones' first in eight games.
The points were shared between relegation candidates Folkestone and promotion candidates Cray.
The game ended 1-1 with Folkestone having former Gillingham and Hull defender Roland Edge sent off.
Folkestone manager Neil Cugley was disappointed with the refereeing, not just against his side.
He said: "Never in a million years was it a sending off, even they (Cray) said it shouldn't be a sending off. Then they had a goal disallowed, it was never offside. They spoiled it for both sides."
Whitstable Town are out of the Ryman South relegation zone after scoring their winner against Merstham in stoppage time, and Erith Town remain top of the Kent league despite losing at home to Beckenham Town.
The draw was also made on BBC Radio Kent for the semi final of the Kent league cup. Herne Bay will play Corinthian and Hythe Town will play VCD Athletic, both over two legs in March.
