Boston joint-manager Paul Hurst says that Alfreton are favourites to win the Blue Square Bet North despite United's 3-2 win over Town on Tuesday.

The result leaves Boston second in the table, a point behind leaders Nuneaton, with Alfreton a further point back.

However Alfreton have six games in hand on Boston and seven on Nuneaton.

Hurst told BBC Lincolnshire: "Alfreton are a good side and are favourites to go up.

"It's a good result in terms of our league position and every game now is a big one until the end of the season.

"What this shows is that we have got a lot of character, belief and togetherness and we feel we are a match for anyone in the league."
