Braintree Town snare Kidderminster Harriers defender
Blue Square Bet South leaders Braintree Town have signed defender Ollie Thorne after he was released by Kidderminster Harriers by mutual consent.
The 21-year-old has made nine appearances for Harriers this season and two during a loan spell at Rushden.
Despite joining Newport County in the summer, the former MK Dons youngster made the switch to Kidderminster before the season got underway.
Meanwhile striker Dave Bryant has left Cressing Road by mutual consent.
The former Thurrock man scored three goals in 27 games for the Iron.
But Braintree, who are six points clear of Essex rivals Chelmsford in the league, are confident of further bolstering their squad ahead of Saturday's trip to Eastleigh.
