Truro City saw their lead at the top of the Zamaretto Premier League cut to five points with a narrow defeat at fourth-placed Chesham.
The visitors were dealt a blow on the stroke of the interval when captain Marcus Martin saw red for two bookings.
Chesham's winner came 11 minutes after the break, as Danny Talbot's pass split the Truro defence and found Leon Archer, who shot low into the corner.
It was Truro's second league defeat in four matches.
Second-placed Salisbury City, who drew 0-0 at Stourbridge, have four games in hand.
