Telford's Sinton frustrated by Phil Trainer dismissal
Trainer (l) is giving his marching orders at Croft Park
AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton feels that midfielder Phil Trainer let the side down for being sent off in Tuesday's 3-0 Blue Square North defeat at Blyth.
Trainer, 30, was shown a yellow card for a foul three minutes from time, followed by a second yellow after showing dissent to the referee.
"He's let himself and the team down because the game's gone at that stage," Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"Now we lose him and he's been a key player for us this season."
The dismissal came as Telford, who had only conceded three goals away from home all season, suffered their first league defeat on their travels under Sinton at Croft Park.
If I look at the sending offs we've had this year, there's been four and we haven't really laid a glove on anyone

Former Cardiff City striker Paul Brayson was gifted two goals in the first half following two errors from keeper Ryan Young.
Midfielder Michael Tait scored the winner 10 minutes from time with a delicate chip from the edge of the penalty area.
Manager Sinton said Trainer's red card summed up their night in the North East.
"It was a lack of discipline," said Sinton ."If I look at the sending offs we've had this year, there's been four and we haven't really laid a glove on anyone."
