Redditch boss spies turning point in Worcester draw
Redditch United manager Matt Gardiner feels Monday's 0-0 draw with Worcester City could prove a turning point in the club's league campaign.
Redditch remain bottom of Blue Square Bet North but Gardiner says there were encouraging signs in the derby game.
"If we are as disciplined as we were against Worcester and work as hard then we'll give anyone a game here," he told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
The Reds now have three straight home games after a series of postponements.
Gardiner is looking to his side to capitalise on the run, beginning with the visit of Hinckley United on Saturday.
We are looking around but we can't compete with clubs at our level for players

However, the Redditch boss feels this might not be the best time to take on the Knitters.
"They have just come out of a transfer embargo and appear to have put their recent troubles behind them," he said.
"They have signed a few players so are strengthening at the right time to play us. It is going to be tough but if we work hard then we will give anybody a game."
Gardiner is battling away against a backdrop of serious financial problems at the club that mean he is operating with a very tight budget and looking to the lower leagues to find players capable of making the step up to Blue Square Bet North.
"I'm not proud of how many players I have had to sign this year but we have got some lads with pedigree who have played at this level," he said.
"They are the ones who are consistent but some of the boys who have come from a lower level will do well for two or three games but then find their level.
"We are looking around but we can't compete with clubs at our level for players," he added.
