Nuneaton Town 0-0 AFC Telford United

Proudlock's second half penalty was saved by Danny Alcock

Nuneaton keeper Danny Alcock's penalty save earned his side a share of the points against AFC Telford.

In an open first half, Chris Dillon had a shot cleared off the line by Shane Killock while for the Bucks Greg Mills dragged a drive just wide off the post.

Telford had a great chance to go ahead when Rob Oddy brought down Greg Mills in the area but Adam Proudlock was unable to beat Alcock from 12 yards.

For Town, ex-Telford man Lee Moore was denied late on by keeper Ryan Young.

However the match was marred by violence as Nuneaton fans attacked visiting AFC Telford followers after the game.

Police were drafted in and six arrests were made as a result of the clashes

"A good point, but it's very sad that no-one's talking about what I thought was a very good match," Bucks boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"We get good family support, and they don't come to matches for trouble like this. There's no place in football for what's happened."
