Sinton's Telford have won their last five games.

AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton is hoping the big freeze does not hold up AFC Telford's Blue Square Bet North promotion campaign over Christmas.

"While you're going well you just want to keep on playing," Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.

"We're in a good run of form - five wins on the bounce - which is why I'm desperate for these game to go ahead."

Telford's Boxing Day game at Stafford is already in doubt but there will be an early inspection on Christmas Eve.

Telford are then due to play Redditch at home two days later.

Club officials say the Bucks Head pitch - which has been covered for a week - is playable, but they have asked fans to help clear snow from around the stadium.
