Joint-boss Rob Scott laments lack of Boston quality
Joint-manager Rob Scott felt Boston United showed a lack of creativity in their 0-0 draw at Blyth Spartans in Blue Square Bet North.
Spencer Weir-Daley had Boston's best chance as they kept a ninth clean sheet in a row in the division but failed to score for the second successive match.
Scott told BBC Lincolnshire: "No-one stamped their authority on the game.
"The clean sheet was a bonus but there were few highlights, we weren't positive and had no real creativity."
He added: "There comes a point where the players have to start thinking about how they play the game, how the situation on the pitch is evolving.
"It might seem harsh because we kept another clean sheet but it's another two points dropped if I'm honest. We need to start scoring goals."
Despite the draw Boston remain second in Blue Square Bet North, three points behind the leaders Alfreton.
