Steve Tilson eyes Lincoln City FA Cup win at Hereford

Lincoln City manager Steve Tilson insists they have been given a winnable FA Cup second round tie after being drawn away at Hereford United.

The Imps visit Edgar Street at the end of November, a week after the sides meet at Sincil Bank in League Two.

Tilson told BBC Lincolnshire: "We play them in the league and then in the FA Cup which is astonishing really.

"It's not a fantastic draw, we'd have liked a home tie but it's a winnable game and we have to be positive."

Both sides are currently in the bottom three in League Two.

He added: "The icing on the cake would be to win the cup tie and get a plum draw against Manchester United or Arsenal but to win and climb up the league the week before would be even better."

Tilson twice led his former club Southend to the fourth round of the FA Cup, where they were knocked out by Premier League sides Tottenham and Chelsea.
