Andy Sinton's men have now gone 12 games unbeaten under his command
AFC Telford United face an FA Cup third qualifying round home replay on Tuesday night after being held 1-1 at Buxton.
Telford thought they had won it on 73 minutes when Stefan Bailey's free kick was parried by keeper Scott Hartley and Liam Murray forced in the rebound.
But hard-working Buxton levelled five minutes later when Gregg Anderson beat Ryan Young from close range.
"These sort of games are a banana skin, so I'm quite pleased," Telford boss Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"Having gone 1-0 up, I'm a little disappointed we didn't see the game through.
"If you win 3-0, people say you should have won but, if you get dumped out, it certainly makes the headlines."
Telford have now stretched their unbeaten record under Sinton to 12 games in league and cup - but they have now drawn three out of their last four.
Tuesday night's replay against Evo-stik Premier League high fliers Buxton is at the Bucks Head (12 October, 1945 BST).
The winners will go to Blue Square Bet Premier new boys Fleetwood, where the Bucks have lost on their last two visits, on 23 October.
