Worcester City stretch their unbeaten run to four games
Worcester City extended their unbeaten run to four matches in the Blue Square Bet North with a hard-fought draw at Stafford Rangers.
Matt Birley put City ahead on 16 minutes after Stafford keeper Lee Evans failed to save a Jamie Price free kick.
But the home side levelled 10 minutes after the break when Chris Sterling stabbed home a Craig McAughtrie cross.
City are now in sixth place in the league table, five points behind leaders Alfreton Town.
Worcester manager Carl Heeley told BBC Hereford and Worcester: "I wouldn't say we dominated the first half but I thought we were in control of it.
"We were good value for at least a one-goal [half-time] lead and it possibly should have been more.
"But in the second half we have allowed Stafford to take the initiative but I suppose they are the home side and you have got to give them some credit."
