Durham City hope for improvement against Clitheroe
Cutts scored for Durham to get them their first win - in March - last season
Durham City will be looking to forget last season's 28 consecutive defeats as they start their Unibond First Division campaign against Clitheroe on Saturday.
Austin Carney's side have enjoyed pre-season victories against Sunderland Nissan and Ryton FC, and a narrow 1-0 defeat by Blyth Spartans.
The Citizens conceded 168 goals last term as they were relegated from the Unibond Premier.
The side lost 36 out of 38 matches, and managed just 27 goals.
Durham also had six points docked after fielding a player under a false name - the total from the side's two wins - to leave the Citizens on zero points at the end of the season.
