Truro City started their Southern Premier League season with a disappointing three-goal loss at home to Chesham United.
After keeping Chesham at bay in the first half, the Tigers capitulated after the break.
Steve Wales opened the scoring for Chesham on 49 minutes, with Gabriel Fanibuyan adding a second.
As the match approached full-time, Wales then hit a second to wrap up all three points for the visitors.
Truro will look to make amends for the defeat when they travel to Evesham United on Tuesday evening.
