Andy Sinton reveals Telford in talks with goalkeeper
Sinton previously managed at Fleet Town
AFC Telford United manager Andy Sinton has revealed one of his transfer targets is a goalkeeper to provide competition for Ryan Young.
Sinton says he has other transfer targets and hopes to make several new signings before the end of the week, but would not rush into decisions.
"Talks are ongoing and we're still in the throws of speaking to a goalie," he told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We've had a decent chat but there's nothing concrete yet."
Young, who is currently Sinton's first-choice, made his debut in Telford's 5-3 pre-season defeat by Chester in July 2007, and has since gone on to play over 150 games for the club.
Sinton is also waiting to speak to Phil Trainer, Adam Dugdale and Steve Thompson to discuss their futures, when the trio return from holiday.
