Alfreton Town midfield Jake Moult and defender Matt Wilson have signed new one-year contracts with the club.

Moult only tasted defeat twice in 23 games after moving to the Impact Arena from Stafford Rangers.

The 21-year-old was part of the side which lost in the Blue Square North play-off final at Fleetwood Town.

Moult said: "I felt a very strong bond within the club in the run-in last season and, I am happy to sign for another year."

The former Port Vale and Plymouth Argyle player added: "I have the same ambitions as the rest of the squad and want to be playing at the next level.

"I definitely think I can make it there with the club. We just need a slight improvement individually and collectively."
