Boston sign prolific Sleaford Town striker Miles Hunter
Boston United have signed striker Miles Hunter from Sleaford Town.
Hunter, 21, scored 46 goals for Town this season and the Pilgrims' joint manager Paul Hurst feels he can make the step up to Blue Square North.
He told BBC Lincolnshire: "If you score 46 goals it doesn't matter what standard you're at. You obviously know where the net is."
His signing comes on top of nine players from this year's promotion team signing contracts ahead of next season.
Simon Ashton, Shane Clancy, James Cullingworth, Danny Davidson, Marc Newsham, Shaun Pearson, Ryan Semple, Danny Sleath and Jamie Yates have all been given new contracts by the Pilgrims.
Meanwhile Spencer Weir-Daley and Aaron Butcher have agreed terms and will sign soon.
Three others, Anthony Church, Liam Parker and Mikel Suarez are all considering the terms offered for 2010-2011, while Gareth Davies has been offered a contract if he can prove his fitness.
Paul Hurst told BBC Lincolnshire Miles Hunter would make a good addition to the squad: "He's blessed with good pace and he's left footed which is unusual at this level."
"Hopefully he can get his head down and be a success."
