Lincoln City manager Chris Sutton is looking for a new goalkeeper after failing to agree terms with Rob Burch, BBC Lincolnshire understands.
Burch, who has made 100 appearances for the Imps, played a vital role in City's fight against relegation.
But sources suggest interest from higher division clubs has prompted Burch to keep his options open.
The 26-year-old, who is out of contract this summer, joined Lincoln after being released by Sheffield Wednesday.
The Yeovil-born stopper has been an ever-present for the Imps in the Football League over the past two seasons.
