Chelmsford City have retained eight of last season's squad as they look to mount another promotion bid in the Blue Square South.
Mark Haines, John Martin, Dave Rainford, Matthew Lock, Anthony Cook, Ricky Modeste, Rob Edmans and Ricky Holmes will all remain at the club.
Midfielder Ollie Berquez has been released while on-loan striker Warren McBean has returned to Bromley.
Chelmsford were beaten in the play-off semi-finals by Bath City.
