Former Telford midfielder Sean Parrish says he would be interested in taking the vacant manager's job at the New Bucks Head.
Parrish, who had two spells as a player and one as assistant manager at Telford, is currently working at Northampton as a youth team coach.
He told BBC Radio Shropshire: "It does appeal to me. If I can help out in any way then I might look to do that."
Former United manager Rob Smith was relieved of his duties on Friday.
Parrish was quick to pay tribute to the work that Smith and his assistant Larry Chambers did at Telford.
"They did a fantastic job and it's ready for somebody to take it on and hopefully get up next season," he added.
You can follow the latest developments at the New Bucks Head on a sport special this Tuesday night on BBC Radio Shropshire 96 FM from 1900 BST.
